Kianga - approaching 1 month

With the 1 month mark of Kianga's birth fastly approaching, is there any news on how her first month has gone? i know that the first months and years are critical, i havent seen any articles written or anything. i wonder how much weight she has gained? but then again, what can expect, i know they cant tell up everytime she feeds or plays.

This is the last I heard off of allears.

In the near future, Guests will be able to see the Kianga's progress on camera monitors at Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It will be several weeks before the calf and her mother will join other elephants on the savanna.

I'm sure as soon as she has bonded with Mom, and the heard, we will all get to enjoy her! :wave:

My gang will be off to WDW at holiday time and can't wait to check out the new mom and baby. It would be nice to be able to get updates on how they are doing.
