I took it this past Saturday and absolutely LOVED it (despite the pouring rain). It explores the four Keys to the Kingdom, courtesy, efficiency, safety, and show. You start out talking about how the Magic Kingdom is set up like a movie, talk about Walt's concepts for the park, etc. Then you go to adventureland, and start talking about Audio-Animatronics and how they were derived. You ride Jungle Cruise, talk about the Tiki Room and Pirates, and then head to Frontierland. Here, you immediately go backstage and look at the parade float storage area, talk about SpectroMagic, and can ask any other questions you have and get a straight answer. You will get a kewl view of the back of rides, too. Then you head back on stage and eat lunch at the Columbia Harbor House. After lunch, you talk about the Haunted Mansion and Hidden Mickeys. You'll learn about the effects of the Mansion, and then go through the "servant's quarters" and board the ride. Lastly, you head back to main street and go into the Utilidoor and look at costuming. I left out a buncha little things that'll make the tour even more interesting for you, but the tour was great!

My husband and I took the tour in October and thought it was great. It gives you a lot of insight into the way things work at the Magic Kingdom. When we did it, we rode TTA, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion. It takes all morning, so I wouldn't do it if your time is limited. Also, I wouldn't take the tour unless you've been to the park a lot. There's a lot of walking involved, but if you get the right guide, there will be plenty of chances to sit while the guide talks. Check out the info on the tour at www.wdwig.com

Where do I sign up? I've never even heard of this and it sounds pretty awesome. Any information on how it works would be absolutely amazing, I'm going next week and am really pumped!

This past December, my Friends went on the Keys Tour...They said it was very interesting...and DogsRule! pretty much summed it all up. My friends raved about it so much, I was mad at myself for not taking the tour with them...But, I was trying to keep my vacation expenses down. :(

You have to be atleast 16 and the cost is about $58. If you are a member of the DisneyClub you get it a discounted price. The Tour is a must!

I want to take the 7 1/2 hour tour through the MK, Epcot, and studios. Anyone know what it is called I forgot? I know that one costs like 200 bucks though, but worth it to me.

I took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour on that same rainy Saturday (Feb 23) and it was really really interesting. I LOVED it! I was expecting the most interesting portion to be underground in the Utilidores, but the best part ended up being above ground and hearing the stories about walt that inspired the different areas of the park. The parade storage area was also pretty cool and my tour guide was great!

They played Jimmy Buffett - Fins in the Utilidors when I was down there on K2K. That made the perfect tour even more perfect. Well worth the money, only thing is I don't remember eating at Columbia Harbour House, then again that was years ago I went on it

I have been on both these tours. Backstage Magic - you go to all 4 parks. With Keys to the Kingdom, it focuses on the Magic Kingdom only. Both tours were worth the money, especially if you are a Disney Fan. I would suggest that you go on the Backstage Magic first. Also, about the discount, you can get 15% off (don't hold me to this) if you use an American Express Card. There are also age requirements for these tours. ENJOY!!
