I would welcome any information about the Keys To The Kingdom Tour at Walt Disney World. We are thinking about adding it to our trip to Walt Disney World next year.

It is very enjoyable, not sure of the price point now but when I did it I thought it was good value. I had done the behind the magic tour before and the wild africa or what ever it is after and thought this was the best

Behind the seeds at the land pavilion is good as well

It's a good time and, for WDW, I think a good value for the price. I've done it a couple times. If you are deep into parks lore you may not necessarily learn anything new but you do get to go a number of places that you would otherwise never see as a guest. In the times I've done it, we've ridden Jungle Cruise but with your tour guide giving facts and history of the ride rather than the regular skipper routine and a back door entrance through the servants quarters into the Haunted Mansion. It comes with lunch, which we had at Columbia House once and other times at Pecos Bill's. You of course get to go into the utilidoors under the park, and there is some outside backstage stuff where you see where the parade floats are stored. The last time I went was right before a daytime parade so I saw a lot of half-dressed fur characters and face characters acting quite out of character! (Nothing illusion ruining if you aren't a child, though.) I've done it alone and with my mom, and in both cases I've ended up meeting new people and striking up conversations. Once I was seated with an Australian woman and once with a couple of Quebecois and I got to surprise them by exercising my French speaking skills! It's a lot of walking, as usual in the park, but I think it's fully worth it and a lot of fun!

Having done it I agree that it’s a tour that is worth the money spent. Even for a Dis fan who has a lot of knowledge you can pick up some info not known before. The thing that really makes the tour is the CM who leads it. Some are more dynamic than others and add a lot to the tour fun. They are open for questions and can answer even the most unusual ones.

DS and I did the Wild African Trek yesterday. Was a wonderful experience. Thank you to Meghan and Hanna our guides who were very informative, attentive, humorous and professional. Made the tour a complete adventure that we would take again. Got to see some great close up sights of animals, walked the bridges in harness, overlooked hippos and crocodiles, had a nice lunch. Got to take home a nice aluminum water bottle and pin with our names. For the 3 hours spent on the tour it was worth the money and time spent.

It was a great deal at $99. At that time, however, park admission was only about $35, so when you add today's park admission prices of ~$150 to the $150 or so for the tour, I don't think I can support the $300 value proposition any more.
