Kermit the Frog is making a "Kermencement" speech for the upcoming grads at the University of Maryland Thursday May 22nd. It will be his first commencement in over 30 years. Jim Henson graduated from the same school in 1960 with a degree in Home Economics. He met his wife on campus where they both attended a freshman puppetry clasas. They are honored with a statue at the College Park campus along with his frog sidekick:

oh well, we will always have the center for puppetry arts in Atlanta where Jim Henson and his friend set up....i should post some of my Muppets artwork from my Disney room...and my Beaker picture I had framed from Flower or Garden or whatever festival it was at the time...with the pickle milkshakes etc...
