Kermit the Frog is making a "Kermencement" speech for the upcoming grads at the University of Maryland Thursday May 22nd. It will be his first commencement in over 30 years. Jim Henson graduated from the same school in 1960 with a degree in Home Economics. He met his wife on campus where they both attended a freshman puppetry clasas. They are honored with a statue at the College Park campus along with his frog sidekick:

The College Park school will celebrate its rainbow connection to Muppets creator Jim Henson with a special commencement address.
