Kennedy Space Center to Pop Century...

We are going to KSC 4/20 to spend the day and watch a satellite launch. My question is, if anyone has done this before and what is the best way to get to WDW from KSC? Also, by any chance, does anyone have photos of KSC from their own vacation?

Pretty much the best way (i think) is the beeline expressway, highway 528, back to I-4 south. It's really not that far. Never been to the Cape for a satelite launch. Just a shuttle launch. If the satelite launch is anything like a shuttle launch, there will be quite a traffic jam coming back. If I remember correctly, it took almost 2 hours to get from the Tittusville Holiday Inn to Orlando. The Holiday Inn's parking lot is a pretty good spot to watch a shuttle launch since it's right on the intercoastal waterway but might be too far north for an unmanned launch.

i went to KSC when i was younger when atlantis was blasting off (we saw it on the launch pad which is awesome!!!). that was on our 2nd trip but we went there by coach not from WDW if you ask at reception or better still google it they give you directions to places.

KSC is so cool and very interesting -on my next trip im gonna go back coz im older now i will take more in and pay more attention. your in this room and if you look at the ceiling your actually looking at the inside of a shuttle which is amazing, there is so much stuff about it which will make you go WOW!!!!

The best route is the Beeline Expressway or Highway 528. This is also best if you are arriving to Disney from the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral areas.
