Kelly Osbourne Experiences Freaky Friday

Variety reports Kelly Osbourne is in negotiations to play the musically inclined best friend to the teen heroine in Walt Disney Pictures' quirky comedic remake of 1976's Freaky Friday. the film is being adapted by screenwriter Heather Hach.
The original featured Jodie Foster as a tomboyish teen who constantly quarrels with her mother (Barbara Harris). When the mother and daughter reveal desires to escape their drudgery of their current lives, they suddenly and inexplicably exchange bodies.
Lindsay Lohan (The Parent Trap) will play the teen, while Annette Bening has been cast as her widowed mother in the Mark S. Waters-directed pic. Osbourne is also expected to contribute at least one song to the film's soundtrack, adds the trade.
