Keith Emerson dies at 71

Another sad day for prog rock. Emerson was a brilliant performer and musician.

Such a loss; he was a phenomenal keyboardist. I saw ELP in Chicago at the Amphitheater in January of 78. It was a great show!

I saw Emerson, Lake and Powell at the Capital Centre Sept. 19 1986. They were already past their prime but I'm glad I saw them.

I saw that tour twice. Lexington KY and Indianapolis IN. They were good shows.

Didn't really know much of his music except Lucky Man and that synthesizer solo in that song is awesome. RIP
