Ok, so this happened in December 2013, and I've already emailed Disney on this, but I still want to give my thanks to Kathi at Old Key West.
I had stayed there the night before my cruise, and as I was on the DME bus heading from the airport, I realized my worst fear...I left my passport at home!
I was able to get someone at home to overnight it to OKW, and I kept watching for it. The morning of the cruise, I ate at Olivia's with my sister and her family, as they were going to drive me to the port, and we were waiting for the FedEx guy to deliver it. After explaining the situation to Kathi, she tried her best with FedEx to get them here as quickly as she could, and while she wasn't totally successful, it was the effort that counted and the fact she found me outside to tell me the status.
I did get the passport in time, and wound up at the ship with just over an hour before they couldn't take any more passengers. I was so relieved after I got on the ship and had a great cruise!
