Can you still store your bags/purse in the compartment in the middle on the ride or do you have to put your purse/bags in the lockers they added?

when we were there in 2011 we put everything in the middle. Of course I do not know if lockers were an option then or not.

You can put your purse in the center. No guarantee of dryness, of course, but you can.

I don't know about a big backpack, though. Never carried one.

Thanks, was not sure if they still let you put your things in the center since they put the lockers. In the past I have been able to put my backpack before and it fit.

The center is available, but I dont see how a backpack would fit. TIP.. Bring a few ziplock bags and put your camera, phone, etc in it before putting it in the center console.

we had a back pack and it fit. Everything was dry too, but it took up a lot of space.
