Justice League

I just watched part III of their origins and I gotta say: even though I don't like DC, this cartoon looks pretty good. Which is a pity because the best part of being a Marvel fan was to make fun of Superfriends...
Anyways, I wanted to know from a DC fan how close to the comics this thing is. Because they have a space station instead of the Hall of Justice ( ) and Batman kinda made clear that he's a loner and won't be around much, and from the covers I've seen Green Lantern is also different, but I hear they'll change the comic, so...

Also, in the comics, do they mention the League in their individual comics? Oh, and Batman and Superman know eachother's secret identities?

Well, when they are changing clothes in the Justice Locker Room you tend to notice those kinds of things...

Probably it is refering to the Batman Superman movie. Superman used his x-ray vision to peak through Batman's cowl. Batman caused a distraction and tossed a tracer on Superman's and followed him to Clark's apartment.

A very good animated movie. It has all of the voice talents from both animated TV shows plus the Joker, Lex, Harly Quin, and Percy. The animation isn't on par with Mask of the Phantasm or Return of the Joker but still better than the normal TV shows.

Is that being followed in the comics?

I don't know. I haven't collected the Batman line since the early 90's and I haven't collected any comics since the mid 90's.

All I have to say is Mark Hamill does a Great Joker. I really like the fact that they are still using Kevin Conroy as Batman/Bruce. I watched the animated series from the beginning. Nothing like seeing an entire college dorm down in the lounge at 4:30 in the afternoon to watch a cartoon.

I can't say I know much about the comics, but Justice Leauge seems to be the only decent cartoon Warner Bros. Animation is making anymore. Remember Animaniacs and Freakazoid and Tiny Toons and Pinky and the Brain? I loved those shows. Then along came Pokemon, introducing American children to Anime, and, well, now look at the channel. Not to put down anyone that likes anime, that's fine and all, but these japaneese shows took over all the other shows!

(Sorry for the thread drift...):)

No problem! :D I actually started this thread because I was really impressed with Justice League. And this is hard for me to admit, being a Marvel fan and all...

There's actually a line in the new cartoon making fun of the old one. Supes says they need to stand together as a team because that's how they were able to save the day. Then Flash says something like "What, like the Superfriends?" Then Supes answer: "I was thinking more along the lines of a Justice League." Then Flash: "Corny, but I like it."
