Just saw my first sequel in a long time!

Can you say cr@p? The Little Mermaid II is awful! I was so disappointed! Nothing about the story line was original, all of it was recycled from the first movie. The animation looks awful and the whole movie just isn't enjoyable! I sure hope none of the other sequels are like this one because I'm really disappointed! Oh well, bring on Bambi II.... Yippie!

If you look at all the sequels Disney put out. Pixar is the exemption. But redoing their own movies are giant disasters. My little sister has rented all the II movies. And none of them are up to par with the original. They don't even come close. Don't watch 'em.

Lady and the Tramp II was the first and only sequel I paid money to watch.

HORRIBLE.

I rented the crap for a few bucks at a hotel in 2001. . . what a waste of a few dollars.

Really.

Since when is crap the "best in family entertainment?"

I could not believe it when they made Lady and the Tramp II. Things have gotten so bad that the next sequel I'm expecting is Cinderella vs. Sleeping Beauty: When Princesses Go Bad!!

I just couldn't believe it! That movie was like watching the first one, only this time it was cheap-looking and the songs were average! I'm so fed up of sequels! I know Disney can do better than "The Lion King 1 1/2" or "Return to the Sea: TLM II" Sometimes I wonder if a takeover would actually do any harm to the company!

You have got to be joking. Lion King 1 1/2 was awesome with great animation, great songs, and the original cast. Sure, it was the Lion King from a different point of view, but I thought it was very well done. Best direct to video Disney movie I've ever seen!

Lion King 1 ½ was enjoyable but not due to a great story it was the jokes that they cut into the movie.

Stitch The Movie – could have been better but it was a good launching point for the show.
Return to Neverland – not that bad in fact it was pretty good.
Lady and the Tramp II – horrible.
Little Mermaid II – bad
Pocahontas II - had a few sparks of hope but in the long run hurts the memory of the original.
Lion King II - wasn’t that bad.
Beauty and the Beast Christmas - weak.

But the ones that started it all -
Return of Jafar and
Aladdin and the King of Thieves
The first one was horrible and the songs stunk, but when followed by the television series it created a story arc that was realized with the King of Thieves. So even though I dislike the Return of Jafar I can’t hate them because of the complete story they create.
