Just moved to Orlando! :)

I had an interview on the 21st with the Walt Disney World Resort! I am a restricted rehire so I had to fill out the rehire paper work and also bring a notarized letter from the company I worked for back home! Does anyone know the chances of me getting hired this first time around?

I worked at Disney in 2010 and have worked at the same restaurant since I got back home from self terming so I have the 6 months of steady work history. I turned all my papers in on time (the day that it was due...hope that doesn't hurt me) and basically took a leap of faith in moving to Orlando just to work for Disney!

I'm applying for other jobs around the area just in case but does anyone know about how long it should take? My interviewer was very sweet and she told me the process would take just a bit longer due to my rehire status. But she didn't really say how long until I would hear back!

Oh and I applied for Part Time Custodial if that matters and also added that I would work in QSFB. I told them both on the application and during my interview!

congrats! to better your chances , i would add every job you are willing to do or/and qualified. that way you have the best chance.also, suggestions for other places, there are a lot of other hotels, resorts, theme parks, etc. in the area hiring , so keep your eyes peeled and use the different job search sites!!!! This is a great way of having backups! Good luck!

Thank you! During my application process I was only allowed to add 3 so I applied for 3 roles that I thought would be generally always hiring Custodial, QSFB and Attractions!

Last week I went to an interview and was wait listed for Merchandise and Park Greeter. I hear there's a need for custodial, but they're still hiring QSFB and Attractions. I was told that the needs change on a weekly basis, so try to get in contact with your recruiter if you don't hear back within a while.

Just a bump for those interested! I was told my rehire status would be lifted and that I will be working Custodial MK! I have to wait for an email to schedule my on boarding appointment then they will give me my traditions date!
