Just heard from Guest Services . . . Global?

A few weeks ago I wrote a letter to Guest Services communicating some outstanding experiences a few cast members gave us during our trip in February. These cast members really went out of their way to give us what we thought were incredible experiences so the letter was extremely complimentary.

Today I received a phone call from Disney thanking me for my letter. The lady also told me the letter would get forwarded to the departments so the Cast Members could get recognized but it was also going to get sent to the Global Guest services. (I think that's what she called it.)

Does anyone know exactly what this is, and what kind of recognition the CM's will receive from it going to the Global Center? I have never heard of this before and I was just curious.

That happened to me once, when I emailed them about an outstanding cast member. They didn't mention global though, at least not from what I remember, they said something along the lines of notifying the correct department so the cast member could get recognition. So I guess I'm curious about the same thing, haha
