Well, we just got back from our ten day trip to WDW! The five kids in our group had a great time! The little girls..2,5,8 really loved the Breakfast in Cinderellas Castle. The boys really liked Tower of Terror and Rock N Roll Rollercoaster. They all liked the parades..what we didnt like was all the last minute people trying to squeeze into our spaces on the curbs for some of the parades..one grandma told her three girls to get in front of the stroller because "they were skinny & the 2yr old wouldnt remember the parade anyway!" needless to say we told the kids not to get infront. I had to sit for an hour and half for those spaces I wasnt about to give them up to someone arriving minutes before the parade!
We stayed at All Star Movies..Dalmation Bld. 1. The kids loved it. They loved the pools and the theme. The CM's were great at offering to pin trade with the kids, very patient with them while they were agonizing over what to give up, things like that.
The parks were crowded...people were there spending money, drinking sodas, water etc. Disney didnt have enough people working to keep the trash cans empty...they were overflowing everywhere!!!
In our ten days only one Bus Driver spoke to us over the speaker system and joked with us..."this trip is an hour long..but hold on tight and I will get you there in 15 minutes" stuff like that.
Vickie was our monorail driver that let the girls sit up front...was so nice..giving out copilots licenses to the little ones, taking photos, answering questions..very patient!
We got on all the rides, took advantage of fast passes and child swap! We really did miss early entry and we avoided the character caravan like the plague..the kids filled their books by meeting characters elsewhere!
The oldest two boys liked Hall of Presidents and the American Exhibit in Epcot. The girls LOVED CBJ and cant wait for the movie.
We did wonder why, when the park was open til 9 or 10 the shows like Tiki Room, CBJ, Hall of Pred. and others closed at 6pm?? The sound was off in Small World..still rode it about 4 times..the two year old wanted to see the singing dollies.
We did manage to come home with $500! Joining DVC as well.
Cant wait to go back. We had a blast....as we always do at Disney~
