Trip Report Just got back :( :(

Back from 10 magical days at Disney World and one very unmagical one at the Orlando airport. Don't ever fly Jetblue! Stayed at POFQ and that hotel is beautiful!

Thought I'd share some ramblings while it's still fresh in my mind!

-Photopass plus, do it! It's worth it! Took over 300 photopass photos, and they look amazing! Much easier than asking people to take your photo for you. And the CMs are so nice and creative with their poses. I would recommend photopass plus!

-New fantasyland, was not that impressed. I guess I was just expecting more? Maybe it was because the mine train in smack dab in the middle of everything so I did not really get immersed in the whole experience. Beast's castle looked small to me, I did not get the forced perspective. Be Our Guest was really beautiful, although I felt like I should be in a fancy dress rather than jean shorts and a tank top with mickey ears on my head! The food was really yummy!! The beast gets introduced almost every half hour and they play this epic music and welcome the host of dinner and he comes out, it's really cute!! Gaston's tavern was very well themed, although I do think they need more food options. So many people went inside and right back out when the saw the food choices. I think a another quick service location besides BOG for lunch should have been added to this area of the park. Even if it went in storybook circus, there should be another place. Tried a pork shank, it was alright.. Lefou's Brew was really tasty, especially on a hot July day. The little mermaid ride was cute, nothing spectacular, but I did enjoy it. Meeting her in her grotto was more exciting for me :)

-Hoop-de-doo Revue, best dinner of the trip. The show was awesome, the sangria was unlimited and a great time was had by all :)

-Tour groups, they were everywhere! I just don't understand why the can't break up into groups of like 5 or something and still stay in the same park. It's just kind of intimidating to see hundreds of people wearing the same shirt coming towards you. We tried to avoid them as much as possible, but I guess it's just not a good month to go!

-Weather, it legit rained everyday!!! And not just passing showers, it rained for hours at a time! Put on our ponchos and still hit up everything we could, but it was still frustrating. Had a dining reservation at the Poly one night so we left POFQ to get on a MK bus and were the ONLY people on the bus to go there. Our bus driver asked if we were really going to MK in the pouring rain and we told him our situation. He called his manager and asked if he could drive us directly to the Polynesian and it turned out he could! He was sooo nice. We tried to tip him but he insisted he was retired and drove the buses for enjoyment and did not need our money. His name was Ron and we asked if there was anyone we could call to tell them about how grateful we were for him but he wouldn't tell us anything! What can I do to thank this Cast Member??

Well, that's it for now! Anyone have any questions please ask away!! I miss Disney!!

We had torrential down pours all during our trip aswell. We were unaccustomed to them as usually they only last about 20 - 30 minutes in Florida, so our Ponchos got plenty of use! Still, it scared the crowds away so all in all, we had a better time.
I hope you will write a full trip report! Those few photos look awesome.

Our experience with Jet Blue from DCA last November was that it was late in both directions. The only redeeming quality was that it saved us about $275 total vs. Southwest out of BWI.

Coming back since we were in the front of the plane about 90% of the plane boarded before we did due to "pre-boards" and back to front boarding. They did not check to see if anyone was actually boarding in the right order.

You mentioned that you would never fly Jetblue again could you explain why? Have a trip planned for next April using them and curious about your experience.

They honestly have THE WORST customer service. Our flight going home was delayed 3hours, from 935 pm to 1254 am.. We had gotten to the airport at 730 thanks to the magical express so we were waiting and waiting. I never knew things close in the airport at 11! So 12 rolls around and we make our way to the gate and wait some more. Soon it's 1230 and then 1245, and no one is boarding the plane. The plane was at our gate for a good hour now. It turns to 1 am and here come 2 police officers so everyone is freaking out. A man makes an announcement that the flight is cancelled bc the pilot is tired. So we have to make out way to the beginning of the terminal to rebook and then go down and claim our luggage. The next flight they could give us back to Newark was not until 935 the next night, and who wanted to take that risk again?? We heard this happens to every late flight from the lady who worked at Starbucks in the terminal. The people rebooking us were so rude!! It was 1 am in the airport so we wanted to know what we were supposed to do until our flight at 151 pm the next day to JFK. They told us after we got our baggage people would assist us with a hotel "if they could". We were not helped until 230 am.. I felt terrible for all the people with small children. The JetBlue workers were so rude, I witnessed one lady screaming at a customer because he needed a room. Did they just expect us all to sit in the airport?? If this happens all the time shouldn't they have a system?? It was honestly awful an i felt for everyone who was tired and cranky after waiting hours upon hours for our flight. i understand things happen but they really should have handled the situation better. Screaming at a customer is just unacceptable. It was a major change of pace from Disney's wonderful cast members to JetBlue's employees. Finally at 3 am we were in a cab to a hotel. It was a horrible experience.

Send an email to wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com and give them as much detail as you can, his name, the date, approximately what time he picked you up and from where and anything else you can think of. They will do everything they can to get the compliment to him and his Management. I will point out that even if he wanted to, he wouldn't have been allowed to accept a tip. As far as I know, only restaurant servers, mousekeeping and valet parking attendants are.

Wow- what an AWESOME bus driver!!! And loving the Hoop De Doo pics- YUM!!! Love that you're wearing zebra print for AK and a pattern coordinating for Hoop De Doo...too cute! :) And on a funny note...I've looked at pics of that Disney Dooney before and could never get a good idea for the size...now I know. And now I'm also grateful that Jet Blue is not an option for us here- at least not flying anywhere I'd normally fly. Thanks! Can't wait to read more!

Boooo on the rain. YAY on POFQ. :geek: It's been our favorite for years. But Jet Blue has done well by us on several flights. Maybe your flights were made more difficult because of the time of year, :hungover: and all the airlines recently cutting back on their number of flights :devilish: ??? Hoping you post some POFQ pictures for me to dream about cause I'm going there in 44 days...:joyfull:...
