Just got back from the family vacation 6/5-6/12..We all had a wonderful time...Weather was great except Friday and Saturday, when Orlando caught some of the weather from Arlene, not bad just lots of rain.
There were some things that were new, some rumors I over heard and a brand new experience for me and my sister....
1) The Express monorail to MK's automatic doors were finished and working when we went there Fri 6/10..When we were there Mon 6/7, they were not. All they need now is to do the same for the Epcot monorail.
2) Stop me if you heard this, one ride on the MK Express Monorail we took in front and the CM/Driver disclosed to us that he knew there are plans for 5 more theme parks and 25 more resorts. He said that this obviously wouldnt happen overnight, but he did say this with conviction, so rumor or not, its exciting..
3) My sister and I had the great distinction of being inside SM with the lights on. It was like a dream come true. It sucked waiting an extra 20 minutes but I have been wanting to see this for some time now. And just before it actually happend, I made a comment to myself of how nice it would be if it happened..and it did...careful what you wish for....
