We have been going to Disney for 28 years running. We go every summer( some falls too). BUT when we go in summmer...its SUMMER...July, early august. HOT..crowds are huge...rainy Just very used to all that goes with this period. This year we are going late spring ( 6/10-6/20) just feels weird. Schools( up north at least) till in session) won't even be officially summer once we get back. I knows its not big deal but love all that goes with summer there. Late hours etc. For those that have been same time as we are going in June....is there much of a difference?

We have gone numerous times early June as well as late May. Weather is great, and crowds are not horrible. It's about the same as mid Oct. as far as the crowds go. Normally it's in the upper 80’s to mid 90's peak day. You'll enjoy you'll be at WDW.

June's a great time to go! The weather is more bearable and the crowds are slightly less. The parks generally stay open late as well as it is summer for a lot of the country already. You could see MK staying open til midnight or later.

We have done trips in both late June and in late May. I have to tell you, late May isn't significantly different, but it's definitely just a little bit cooler and the crowds are a little bit less. In terms of the weather, in late June you walk out first thing in the morning and it's already sweltering; in late May, there's still a pleasant feeling on the way to the bus stop. We love the late May/early June slot and are going in 24 days!

You may very well encounter crowds, heat and, of course, rain. All in all, if I had to pick between June and August, I'd take June every single time.

We're the opposite - have always gone in fall and are trying first week in June this time. I consider June summer, but living in GA summer weather starts in April...

I've also heard that more schools will be out in early-mid June this year than in past years, so I don't think it'll be that different.

We try to avoid July altogether! August is very hot & humid! But, one of the most special times was for my Mom's 70th birthday August 1-6. It was very hot & there were thunderstorms daily! That didn't stop us! We had a blast!:D Going in June ( early) this year. It's still considered the "spring" season.;) It just doesn't matter to me when we go anymore. We just go and have fun because we just never know ( God forbid) when we won't be able to go again!:(
