Just did our FPP and Online Check In!

I just got to experience FPP and scheduling our rides, it was stressful. My husband had to remind me if we miss a schedule FP it will be OK, we can still do the ride! I am just so at times about making times when I scheduled them and such. But thankfully my husband tolerates it and reminds me that it's not "set in stone" and if we miss the time doesn't mean we won't be able to ride it at all LOL. We also just checked in online and I'm hoping for an early check in (we are arriving the day before and staying at a hotel near by) and we did request it. Either way, I'm super excited and it's 59 days till we leave and 60 days till our first day at Disney!! I'm so excited that I even have a Disney corner in my closet for stuff I need to bring with me I hope I'm not the only one who does this!

It is okay to miss your FP+ window, don't worry! Plus you can always change it on the fly if you have a smartphone.

I can't wait to book our FP+, I don't plan on doing OC but with 60 days to go I'll probably be a mess of nerves and excitement.

We did our last night and it's an interesting process. On one hand, nice to have it all taken care of and know that I have times reserved for 3 of the rides we really want to experience. On the other hand, it's a bit challenging to lock in a time not knowing exactly how your day will go. Take away the spontaneous nature of a WDW trip to some extent but also realize we can change on the fly if needed.

We have a few lunch and dinner reservations so that was our biggest issues. Is there an app to download to change them if I need too? If so, I will download it so we have it. I need to learn not to stress and to remember to enjoy our time. We are going for 7 days and have two that are wide open!! I guess we will see what my son's favorite park is and go back to it on one of those day I'm thinking Hollywood studio's (is it called that or MGM still? or both?) will be his favorite. He's a big movie buff like mama and he loves star wars and Jurassic park!

Yes. There is an app you need to download. As long as you have a MDE account, and you must if you made FP ressies, it will have everything on it that is in your account.
It is Disney's Hollywood Studios. But there is nothing Jurassic Park in Disney. That's over at Universal.

I agree miss a FP and like will go on!

I for one refuse to take my phone on vacation at all much less into the parks with me. None of my family is allowed to carry phones in the parks either, they stay at the room. Mine stays in Texas. So we can't change a darn thing on the fly, I am OK with that !

So if I have a FP+ for SSE at 9am and since there is no line, I decide to walk on at the same time (essentially missing that FP time), I can still reschedule that FP for another time? Do I have to do another SSE FP or could I change it for another Tier 2 ride?

Great, I will do that!! I always keep my phone on me but I rarely use it. We got our son dog tags to wear to the park (they arrived today, woohoo) and if he get lost our cell numbers are on them. If I forget my cell my husband is glued to his so...LOL. But Stevek has a great question, I'm curious too!
