…Is there a conflict of interest with couples that work at Disney (some companies are more lenient than others on the issue)?

There can be, but rarely is. I met DW while working here. It's only a conflict of interest if one person has to report to the other. But many couples work in the company, and many of them work together. In 2004 she and I worked on a deployment project together. We were in 2 different roles and neither of us reported to the other, so there was no conflict of interest.

Thanks. Another key question, will I get a lot of grief from people with "that other place's" clothing on off hours? In other words. I am a big fan, just on Universal clothing. Is there a HUGE rift about it?

Generally speaking... cast members don't care. Many part timers work at both. Although I've never seen anybody wear Universal clothes back stage...

A lot of comedic equity work both, and (name not to be mentioned on discussion board) wears PJs on his way to work at the ad club all of the time, most of them being universal.:D

I think Disney is even better than most companies are about tolerating spouses both working for the company. It's very common for there to be married couples working within the company.

Well yeah. As the largest single-site employer... and the many attractive people who work there... its bound to happen. On my first CP one guy I worked with got married to another Disney employee, and another guy got engaged to someone in entertainment. It's common in the professional side of the company too... i.e. wife works in recruiting, husband works in DVC. It happens.

As far as working the parks at entry-level, I have met couples who have been working the same attraction before, so I don't think it should be a problem. That's all I know, though.
