Just booked two weeks in Kissimmee from UK for a really small price

I have an annual pass, which expires in September. The plan was to go back two weeks before it expires. However, nosing around the Teletext website I stumbled across a deal for two weeks leaving Gatwick April 23rd. I emailed them to check if it was right and it was.

I’m off for two weeks; the cost of flight, taxes and hotel (Quality Inn Polynesian resort in Kissimmee) is £349. I just could not refuse it!

The place I booked it with was HolidayClick.co.uk. They have a couple of websites, the one that covers Florida is http://www.florida.org.uk.

I emailed the contact via Teletext and had replies very quickly (unlike other agents who have not replied at all).

So, if anyone is after a bargain for April, after Easter, give them a try. The phone number is on their website. I dealt with a chap called Nick Lima.

Eight weeks to go. :sohappy:

OOOOOOH, good deal, especially seeing as you don't have to buy more tickets.

Is that £349 per person?

I just wish i had the time/money to go. :(

The flight is with different airlines, both are between Gatwick and Sandford.

Going out is on Britannia - with a short stop in Glasgow to pick up passengers. The return trip is with Thompson.

"Free" car, but you know the deal - the insurace and local gaff taxes are extra.

I'm going to check prices with other car companies before taking it up.

Check out "Dollar" - their website allows you to book from the UK and reserve your car in the US.
I have found that for a family of four - a 4x4 (with insurance, fuel & extra drivers)booked with Dollar is cheaper than an upgrade to a "Full Size" car when taken with a Virgin Flydrive.

I looked around all alternatives last year and booked with Alamo via a site which is in my bookmarks at home, all in for £120 a week. I don't need a monster car, the compact would do just fine. In the end I had a free upgrade to a Chevvy Malibu. It was big, comfy, had loads of toys and typical with most Amrican cars handled like a bowl of porridge.

So you'll be looking at a flight time of nearly 12 hours then...?
