Woohoo.
I just booked airfare for May 11-15 and one night's stay at Best Western Stovall's Inn for <$300. The rest of my accomodations are being covered by someone else who's leaving on Sunday, May 14; but as things go, it was cheaper for me to fly out on Monday and book an extra night at a hotel.
This was very much on a whim and made possible by my tax return. Thanks, Uncle Sam!
Oh boy, I'm excited. I was afraid that I wasn't going to get down there before the end of the 50th celebration, but now I'll have five days to soak it all in.
That weekend is Mother's Day weekend, yet I'm hopeful Disneyland won't be a madhouse. Even still, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
