Just returned from a conference at DW. Stayed off property at the Hilton next to Downtown Disney. Nice hotel for a conference but no disney feeling to it. If your looking for the Disney experience stay on property. You can walk to Downtown Disney very easily and they do have a shuttle that will take you to the parks but you feel like your staying at a regular Hilton. No one says Have a Magical Day to you!! Went to MK on Saturday night after my conference was over from 4 to midnight. WOW was it packed!! 90 minute plus waits for rides. It was my first solo trip which was an interesting experience. I loved walking around by myself but going on the rides solo was weird. I kept thinking about my daughter and how she loved the rides I was going on.
Had an interesting experience on Splash MT. Got stuck for 20 minutes, lights came on and thought we were going to be evacuated but they got it going and I got a fast pass for any ride which i used on Space Mountain.
All in all it worked out pretty good and I got to ride all my favorites once. allmost got run over by a few strollers, double ones at that. It was fun, but I think I'll bring my daughter next time. Disney is much better with someone to share it with!
