Returned yesterday form 8 nights , here are some highlights from our trip. We had a blast!
Staying at the Polynesian was awesome! In spite of 100% capacity the resort was beautiful and the service great. It has the best transportation possible, even the bus service was good we never waited more than 5 minutes and the stops at the parks are always very close in. Everyone is so nice there, the service is great and it is so relaxing after the crush of the parks!
Fastpass works great even at a very crowded time like spring break. One thing we observed at BTMRR was people crowding around the fast pass return waiting for their fast pass time to start. This seems like a BIG waste of time. We would get another fast pass before we used the one we had thereby cutting our waiting time down. By going early and then leaviing in the afternoon and doing another park in the evening we manged to do eveything without waitng more than 20 minutes for anything. FAST PASS Rocks, if you use it right.
More random highlights -fireworks while riding Goofy's Barnstormer and from the CA Grill, walking on to all the Fantasyland rides first thing in the am, FANTASMIC-don't miss it. The Brown Derby, One Man's Dream at MGM and of course RNR.
there's more of course but I don't want to make this too long. If anyone has specific questions I'm happy to oblige.

We did COP on Friday about 12:30. We walked right in and the theatre was nearly full. We loved it and felt reaaly lucky to be there when it was open

I couldn't talk the kids into doing CBJ, I think we were only over there in the evening when it was closed.

Thanks, MinnieFan, I don't know when we'll go back but I'm thinking I want to start at least planning another trip soon!

I have a question, Grumpy. Did you hear anything about what's being kept after the 100 party is over, like One Man's Dream, the hat, parades, stuff like that?

And what did you think of the parades?

No I didn't hear anything about what is being kept but I certainly hope they keep One Man's Dream it was terrific. We liked the exhibits so much we waited through another movie cycle so we could see everything in the exhibit area. The models of the castles at Tokoyo and Paris were cool to see and we all learned a lot. Also cool to see his office and the Snow White Oscar. (One big one and 7 tiny ones!)The best bit in the movie is seeing Walt do the voice of Mickey, hard to imagine that squeky little voice coming out of him until you see it.
Parades-we missed most of the parades. Specrtomagic was great, we saw it twice and we saw part of the AK parade which was really fun. The rest we just missed because of the crowds we were trying to do rides since my kids 9 and 12 were more into rides this time.

I too also have just returned from my Spring Break Trip. I went to the Magic Kingdom on Mon the 25th. Grizzlyhall you are going to love this. We waited for 25 min for CoP. When I got up there I said to the person working there, "So you have had lots of people here at CoP? The man said yes we have. I said " Then why would we think of closing this great attraction down?" He said oh another Cop supporter. I said thats right, why shut it down. It was sort of cute at the time.
As for the One Man's Dream, I asked the CM out in front of it if it was going to stay around. He told me to just live it up now. So that made me sort of sad.
But I had a great time there like always and can't wait to go back. I had brought my girlfriend there, it was her first time. It was just simply amazing watching her face. Oh the place is so magical. Can't wait to go back!!!

I'm said to hear about One Man's Dream... I really wanted to go during the party, but my girlfriend works all the way through December. :(

To DisneyWorld30th, you are not suppose to take pictures inside but I have seen a couple pictures up. Maybe it was on this forum, I don't remember. But there are a few floating around.
To 2much2do, I do think the price is higher than in the past. But when I go I just expect to be spending lots of money so I guess I really don't think about it. The one thing I did find interesting though is price comparisons. At my apartment here at school I pay $.75 for a 20 oz bottle of Coke(excellent deal!! hehe). You go to the gas station $1.19. You got to WDW $2.50. Oh well.

Hmm. A 20 oz. Coke was $2.50 the last time I was there as well, so no change. I cannot tell you how freaked out that Foxfire's post made me :( Wish I could get over it.
