and wow am I depressed. Happy to be home, but sad to be away from our happy place.

How was your trip?

It was great - 10 days but somehow I didn't get to do a couple of the things I specifically wanted to do. Somehow we never made it to visit Tinkerbell, missed Flynn at the Christmas party (line was 45 minutes long and my dd was sleeping) and no story time with Belle.

It was great except for the screaming match in Crystal Palace with my mother and falling down the DME steps heading home at the airport and bruising my foot.

I'm sorry to hear it. I admit I teared up during the DME movie when Mickey was singing "M I C - see you real soon! K E Y (because we like you!).

I am going to Disneyland in January. Am very excited.

Won't be back to WDW until May of next year...so will probably be thinking about that as soon as I get back from Disneyland.

If the money situation works out, I might be going on a Disney cruise on the California coast with my husband in September of next year. I have about 3/4 of what we'd need to spend on that and am hoping to have the rest of it soon so I can book this. We've never done a Disney cruise before. If we like it, we might try to do a few days in WDW and then a cruise after that in the future.

Gives me an incentive to budget and organize our funds to have something like this to look forward to!

Isn't that the truth. Last trip I had a three hour delay at MCO, my bags were soaked when I landed in Chicago and my Taxi driver was asking me for directions. Worse, it was sad leaving my son in WDW after only seeing him for 6 days. Gives me a good reason to go back.

I do that too. I always seem to count down how many days I only have left. Worst for me is waiting for the DME to tear me away from my happy place.

It's funny I was watching our vacation video's and we were all so chatty at the beginning but by the end when I was filming the car ride to the airport, no a single sound! Totally get that feeling.
