Potter is smashing box office records with every passing minute, MIB 3 is next up and Jurassic Park 4 is in the works now.

Huge potential for expansion at Universal, what direction and what attraction do you think they'll focus on next?

Despicable Me's on the way and Hollywood Drive-In Mini Golf will be open in a couple months. We've also seen a ton of refreshing taking place around the parks - Hulk's awesome repaint for example and everything seems to be in general working order, which is great. I'd love to see them take advantage of the expansion room Studios has for something Kong, Avatar, or Transformers (which I've always thought would be a great 3D show replacement for Terminator) related, but I'm sure we'll see the next phase of Potter before something like that happens (and Potter surely isn't too far off  ). It'd obviously be great to see tons of new stuff pop up, but I'm very content with the way things are rolling right now. :king:

can't wait. Universal is a great second option in Orlando. Six great parks(and i'm not including a few others, ie seaworld, cause I've never been)

Is there news regarding plans to expand potter? If so that'd be lovely!

In IoA I can see them shutting down Lost Continent & expanding WWoHP !

As for making a Kong ride .....They already did, but they replaced it with The Mummy Ride as it cost too much to run!

Hopefully they close (or improve) MiB and ET tbh

It's been talked about at the resort. I believe it's written into the contract for them to kick out lost contient and add elements from the 7th movie in there. I believe the contract calls for 3 more rides to be built.

I honestly would love to see the Seuss area get some much needed TLC. The entire area needs a refurb! I know this because I spend 95% of my time at IOA in the Seuss area with my little one riding Cat n the Hat 5-10 times each visit!

I don't know if there is room anymore, but I'd like to see Jurassic Park either get another ride or a good refurb. Adding a few effects, and maybe bring back the raptor cage (I don't recall seeing it last year) would be a nice plussing.

Yeah, I wasn't really expecting all new rides but possibly some refurbs or additions to the MiB, JP, Potter areas.

I also forgot about the new SpiderMan movie, but I think they've done all they plan to do on that ride for a while.

They've already planned to refurb spiderman .....they're putting in much needed HD 3D projecters!

JP Jeep ride would be fantastic!

Don't get rid of ET, that ride is a timeless classic. If anything, just refurbish it. Id like to see an additional ride in Jurassic Park. and a nice expansion in the studios (theres enoughland there for it).

The WoodyWoodPecker land itself seems a bit lost and isolated to me .....

The whole area needs a good cleaning up ... As for the Barney crap, do they even show that on TV these days

I dont care what they do to the area, just leave ET alone. ET is Universals Peter Pan IMO (A ride that doesnt need anything more than making sure everything works and not a AA Upgrade)

Harry Potter is done, and all the records it's smashing will be broken by the new Twilight movies and the new Batman film. Nothing against HP, just saying.

MIB 3 is going to be a disappointment. The 2nd one was 10 years ago. That one didn't do as well as the first. This will suffer the same way Scream 4 did. They waited too long.

Jurassic Park 4 depends on Spielberg's involvement. JP3 was a huge box office disappointment. If Spielberg doesn't direct, this one won't do much better.

WWoHP has been red-hot anyway. Certainly the huge success of Deathly Hallows has helped even more, but in 1 month, all will be back to normal.

I don't see that happening. They had 2 other rides to re-theme to Harry Potter, and they didn't do much with those.

Just saying, Toy Story 3 came out 11 years after Toy Story 2, and it broke all sorts of expectations and records :)
But it was expected to do that, I can't say the same of MIB3 or JP4. (though, I do love me some MIB :D)
