June crowds

When is the best time to go to WDW in June?

September :)

Kidding. June is of course Summer and that mean crowds. However, I would say the earlier in June the better. The closer you get to the 4th of July that bigger the crowds will be. Also, during the week as well offers "smaller" crowds. Even when it is Summer, we tend to go during the week and avoid the weekends.

Starting the last week of May I would expect heavy traffic with all of the parks. As it has been stated over and over again there are no longer "slow" times. You may find a day here and there but a slow week is no longer the norm. A lot of schools started in August this year which is a week or so early due to the way Labor Day fell. This is going to put the kids out in late may for the summer vacation. I would just make sure to plan out your trip, make your fast passes and dining reservations, take advantage of EMH's and remember to have fun. Even with Heavy traffic you can still have a MAGICAL time with proper planning.

Our last two trips were in June, and it's very manageable. We tried to go as early as possible for a little less crowds and to try and avoid the really bad heat. We weren't very successful on the heat front. It was over 100 degrees several days on both trips. Have a plan, take breaks, and most of all have fun!!!

We prefer the second week of June. The Gay Days crowds are mostly gone and the school vacation crowds are not quite there yet.

In my experiences, June has gotten rainier. And I'm not talking the normal 1 hour rain and it goes away. We've had more and more days being a washout with day long storms.

And it's Florida in Summer, so it is going to be HOT. Mid to Upper 90's should be expected.
