June 3 or August 9th?

I am so torn about the dates. Looking at June 3 or August 12th. Staying for one week. If free dining is offered, I will go with August. Otherwise I don't know. Any thoughts?

Free dining has typically been more towards the middle to later part of August, so I'm not sure if all of your dates would be covered for free dining. If June is $300 more, I would say go in August. It will be hot and crowded during both trips. Might as well have your extra $300 to spend on snacks, etc. to keep you happy!

I have been a few times in the begining of August and the crowds weren't bad at all, most Florida schools go back around that time. In August 2005 the longest wait we had was no more than 20 minutes. However, from when I've been in May and June I can say that the parks are very crowded, you will have hour plus waits for the E-tickets.

At either time I would make sure to bring along some cheap ponchos as Florida summers are known for daily 20 - 30 minute down poors. Don't let this discourage you though, it is usually quite nice because many people will leave the parks or hide out during this time, I have walked on to so many rides at this time because others would not get wet.
