We are looking at going in June, but not sure on resorts....looking at either Caribbean beach resort, port orleans (either) or colorado springs or do we go for AOA and pay for the dining plan??. Weve only ever stayed at the dolphin hotel so dont really know which is the best out of these resorts. anyone thats been in june, can you tell us what to events are on if any, and whats the weather like? and anything else you can tell us we would be very grateful

Depends on many things. One important thing is theme. I find AoA to have that wow factor with the wonderful themes. AoA Suite is my pick from your liSt hands down if u can afford it. This is because of theme, room size and I get a queen bed. If not and you are looking at a standard room, then I would consider French QuArter

French quarter themes r not as wow to me. Most adults probably like this better but not me. I'm at Disney for Disney themes. But you do get a larger room and that queen bed.

I would argue AoA isn't themed. It's decorated. POFQ is themed and transports you to New Orleans. AoA doesn't transport me, anyway, anywhere. To gaudy, personally. It's all a matter of taste. There is no question that the suites give you space, but if you don't need that space, I'd go with the cheaper room that is also found at a hotel with improved amenities.

So it really depends on if you prefer the theme/decoration of the movies at AoA or more relaxing theme/decoration of French Quarter, Coronado, etc

To me AoA makes me feel like I am at Disney and the moderates do not. So we agree it is all in what you are looking for.

Oh and to one of your original questions, Star Wars Weekends are during the first half of the month and there is usually some sort of summer event that starts mid month through the summer. Epcot gets the Sounds Like Summer concerts at some point.

I would suggest either CSR or POFQ.
Coronado because it is close to deluxe. And if you have only stayed at the Dolphin, it might feel familiar.
POFQ because its small, great location, and has the benefit of being next to POR but without the crowding that POR has.

Coronado has an awesome pool and good transportation. I've heard that CBR is being redone and the rooms look very nice but are smaller than the other mods. You can't really go wrong with either of the Port Orleans resorts.

Personally I like Coronado. I've stayed there the most out of any of the other mods.

We have stayed at the Dolphin and it is our favorite due to the location. We have also stayed at CBR, CSR, and POFQ. We are not fans of POFQ as we did not like the theming although we did like the small size of the resort. CBR and CSR are much larger but in our opinion much prettier grounds and pool areas. We really like the carribean and Mexico themes. To me it just depends on which theming you prefer. If I were to pick a favorite moderate I would say Coronado.

Just a guess on my part but since there are only two of you I am guessing you won't be booking a suite. If this is the case, at AoA you will be in Little Mermaid. I have read many complaints about how far of a walk these rooms are.
