Does anyone know how the crowds are around the first week of June? I have always went in early May, but son is in first grade so no more May trips for us  ....We arrive Sunday June 5 and check out Sunday June 12 and head for the Disney Wonder....Any tips on touring would be greatly appreciated!!!

Only 6 more months!!!!!!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Yes, the crowds are slowly coming at this time but they shouldnt be that bad yet. Now if it was the middle of June and on..yeah expect crowds.

Starting the 3rd week of May continuing through August you'll be dealing with heavy summer crowds... my suggestions: take it slow, take lots of breaks, hit the extra magic hour once or twice to get in a few of the bigger rides, utilize your hotel's pool, make sure everyone has lots of water as the crowds get crazy and the difference in May 1st (our favorite time to go too!) and June 1st is HUGE. Just come prepared for crowds and plan on doing a few things each day. The biggest thing to remember is that you're on vacation (oxy moron?) not really - it get's really easy to just rush alot when the parks are packed and you end up feeling exhausted. You'll have a blast even with the crowds - the parks will be open later, and you'll get more use out of the water parks! Hope you have a ton of fun planning your trip!

I was there two years ago on the "Epcot Gay Day" It was a Sunday and I park hopped between Epcot and MK all day. Crowds were not as bad as I'd expected. I was there the year before on New Years Eve. This is more what I was used to growing up at Six Flags in the midwest. The major attractions had lines of over an hour. Sometime over 1 1/2 hours. But use fast passes and its not too bad. Eat or relax or do other things while you're waiting. Take advantage of parade times to get in stand by lines if you don't want to see that parades. Also it WILL rain at 3pm on the dot. This usually scatters the crowd. Buy a poncho and tough it out. You will be rewarded by smaller crowds. I'll be there this year June 7-13. So see ya then.
