We are planning our 6th trip to Orlando and are thinking of going in late July early August 2004.
I was just wondering if there is any locals or frequent July visitors who could tell me what to expect in terms of waiting times in the parks and what type of weather is experienced this time of year.

Thanks :animwink:

We have gone the last 2 years in August and the year before that in July. Its going to be hot...usually with rain in the afternoon, but it doesn't last very long. The parks were crowded and lines were long. Use fast pass when you can. We tried to get around it by eating at off hours, taking advantage of Early in and E nights. We much rather go in March, but school schedules won't co-operate.

Thats the problem we've had. We usually go in April just before the easter rush. I've been in August before but couldn't remember what the weather was like, that was my main concern. I understand there to be afternoon downpours but are they excessive and do they occur every day.

At times they were excessive...to the point of some flooding, other times just an annoying rain. We were there for 8 days and it rained every day, we usually lost about 2-3 hours a day. (but we did have alot of rain all up & down the East coast last summer...it rained just as bad at home, too. We just missed a tornado in South Carolina.)
