July Attendance

Heavy crowds, expect lengthy waits at the top attractions, like the Ice Cream carts and soda/water vendors. You'll find long lines at attractions like Soarin', Test Track, Space and Splash Mountain, Buzz, Pooh, Peter Pan, ToT, RnRC, etc. They could reach and extend past an hour for some, like Soarin' and Test Track. On our honeymoon in 2000, I saw 120 minutes for Test Track, and last year over 90 minutes for Soarin', and that wasn't even during a peak time of year.

I am another person warning of heavy crowds and hot/humid weather. The occasion rain shower is nice but that just makes things even more humid when the Florida sun comes back out. We normally go to Disney at the end of July and early August. Normally these are the last weeks of the summer park hours.

We spent 2 weeks there in July 2004 and it was as expected....H-H&C...hot, humid and crowded!!!
One suggestion that helped us out tremendously....get there at park opening, leave right after lunch to go back to the hotel for a swim, and go back around 5:00. We got in all our favorite rides in the morning when Fantasyland was empty (yes, empty) and then we even picked up a FP to use when we arrived back later in the evening.
Take advantage of the evening Extra Magic Hours, its much cooler and if your party can stay up, you can "party with the Mouse" until 2:00am some nights!!
We're going back the end of August....southern schools are back in session and the crowds are a little less, although still hot!
Look at it this way, you go home with a killer tan!!!!!!
