with all the videos out there, I cannot believe nobody has video of the 4th of July in MK. We have it at Epcot, Steve, do you think anyone has the MK shows?

Epcot, MGM, and MK have extra special fireworks, possibly with additional segments tacke don at the end.

Also, there are many flags and patriotic flowers, wreaths, and the like adorning Main Street USA and Liberty Square in MK, and American Adventure in Epcot.

And patriotic music was playing in some areas of most of the parks.

I expected a higher presence of a patriotic vibe when I was last there during that time in 2000. We were dissappointed.

I go to WDW for Independence Day every year. So far I've spent each of them at Epcot simply because it's such an amazingly patriotic celebration all day long. Voices of Liberty and Vybe have done a combined special show several times on Independence Day the last two years in the American Gardens Theater. And seeing American Adventure is a must for Independence Day. (As is thumbing your nose at the UK as you walk past. ) Reflections is the same show it always is, but then there's a special finale. Back in the late '90s, it was AMAZING. Lately it's been shorter, but has an amazing amount of shells in the air at once.

Yes, it's busy. But if you look at it as a different sort of day at the park, a day where you are willing not to ride as many attractions, but celebrate our independence with some great shows, great fireworks, and a great atmosphere, nothing beats Epcot!

Maybe one day I'll get over to the MK for Independence Day and record the fireworks as I've done at Epcot...we'll have to see.

I will be there on the 4th of July and looking forward to it. I am going with the mind-set that there will be huge crowds at all parks. Can't wait. My daughter wants to go to every park that day!! She is going to kill me!

Going again this year. Was there last year and in 2001. Magic Kingdoms fireworks were great last year, but the added fireworks at Epcot were unbelievable.

Check Disney's Calendar.

Right now they have Wishes at the MK at 9:00 pm, Illuminations at 10:00 pm. MGM has Sorcery In The Sky at 9:00 pm.

As for crowds, my wife and I set along Main Street last year from around 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. I still haven't figured out where all the people fit in the MK.

Epcot's shows by Voices of Liberty, American Vibe and the Color Guard was fantastic.

Happy 4th of July America!
