July 4th

Hi,
My parents and cousin are visiting WDW at the end of June, thru to the middle of July, catching both a StarWars weekend and 4th of July

Are there any special events / firework displays etc planned by Disney to celebrate the 4th?
Also, does anyone have any recommendations for Independence Day whilst in the orlando area.

The fantasy in the sky fireworks are the 3rd and 4th at MK. The parks are extremely busy! MK will be full by noon. There is always something to do in Orlando. As for us it is the one day I splurge and get a concierge lagoon room at the poly and stay there all day to get away from the crowds. Plus the 4th is on a Friday this year. Cant wait

we always do Epcot on the 4th of July, and stay away from MK. The crowds aren't that terrible!
