Has anyone been at Universal for July 4th? This is our first time going during JUly 4th and we are planning to stay at Universal.

I try to avoid any major theme park on July 4th (well, I did go to Dollywood last year on the 4th, it wasn't bad, but then again it's not a major theme park is it). The 4th is probably the second busiest day of the year for Universal, second to New Year's Eve. Lines will be very long, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4 hour wait for Revenge of the Mummy (it will be open by then). Have fun!

Be sure to stay on site and take advantage of the express pass. If not, plan on standing in line all day!
It was slammed last year. It was so bad, we went in, saw the lines, left and drove back home (More than 100 miles).
It will be worse this year, with the 4th hitting on a weekend!
