So my family is planning our first trip to DL in July 2010. We have gone to WDW 6 times in the past 4 years and decided now is the right time!
We looked at June 12th right after our kids get out of school. But with grad nights, we decided against it.
Next up was October - Columbus Day week. But after all the reports of crazy crowds this month, we decided against it also.
The past 2 years we've done the week after Thanksgiving at WDW, I cannot find info on crowds, weather, etc for this week. Still an option.
But July 4th looks good. I know that there will be crowds, but that seems to be a daily thing at DL now. We will fly into San Diego, spend 2 nights. Planning on Sea World and San Diego Zoo. Then we will drive to DL.
Looking at 7 nights at DL. Staying at Best Western Park View across the street, any advice on this?
Spend 4 days in Dl, with 1 day at Hollywood and 1 day exploring the beaches, maybe a dolphin/whale cruise, etc.
What do you guys think? Will the crowds be too bad to enjoy ourselves?
