Is it possible there are no rooms at the Wilderness Lodge for these 4 nights/5 days. I have been trying to book for a week ... do you think I should hold off and hope they release more rooms closer to the date, or should I just reserve with another room. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Since WDW room prices (currently) do not fluctuate the further out/closer in to a date you get, there is little reason for them to "hold" rooms and release them close in. The only reason this might happen is if they are holding a block of rooms for a group - which they would be very unlikely to be doing this close in at this time of year, esp. at WL. You are probably pretty much stuck unless someone cancels a reservation. I'd book a different hotel.
