I guess if it was as simple as I had said it would have already been done. I'm not the brightest piece of coal in the mine. :p:lol:

There is more to it than you are getting credit for. It would not be possible for it to be self-sustaining but that is not to say it would not be possible to tap into some of the kinetic energy. Of course it would add substantially to development/maintenance costs and would likely provide little if any return on such an investment. Electricity is too cheap to have it be worthwhile.

There is a technology being developed that can turn excess heat from power plants and factories and such into electricity and it shows a lot of promise. This is more in keeping with your line of thinking. :wave:
