I lost connection so I missed 5 minutes in the middle. But, he seemed to suggest that the Abu Dhabi decision has been made 'in a few months'. That it was a quick decision.

He also name checked Alan and Jimmy multiple times, but not Dana (unless it was in the 5 minutes I missed).

The interviewer also seemed to give him an opportunity to make a CEO pitch where he talked about his experience across the Disney company in his 27 years.

My other thought was I don't believe him for a second when he says 'most' parks guest use Disney Genie..

Genie+?... maybe not.

But basic Genie... yes. How else are you going to see wait times, or book a restaurant seating without having to walk through the whole park several times to get that info in person?

Of course, but that isn't what he said. He didnt say the MDE app. He said Genie.

He said that it asks people what their favorite things to do are before they arrive at the park. And then it nudges them towards experiences that will be good for them and park operations. He explicitly said that part of Genie. Not the rest of the MDE app.

I've never used that part of the service. Have you?

I've never used the free Genie service and I don't recall ever talking to anyone who has.
