Jiko, Citrico's, Narcoossee's or Artist Point?

8 night, 9 day December 2012 itinerary is just about complete.
We are staying at the BCV (plus two nights at the Swan).
We decided we'd like to venture to another resort for a nice dinner. Our other dinners are either in the parks or at the Dolphin(Il Mulino, Brown Derby, Biergarten, Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, Blue Zoo).

Right now we have Jiko penciled in for dinner one evening. It's on our lone day to visit Animal Kingdom. We figured we'd bop over to the resort, check it out(never have seen it) and dine at Jiko. We were supposed to go during our last trip by cancelled the reservation and ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse instead (my wife was 7 months pregnant at the time and we were staying at the YC).

We have never eaten at Jiko. Nor have we eaten at Citrico's, Artist Point or Narcoossee's. All are on our list for future visits. We have never been to the Grand Floridian or Wilderness Lodge either.
But the time is now. Reservations are coming up in two weeks. Any of these places require some travel (bus to resort to bus....or walk to Epcot to monorail to GF....or taxi!).

Travel aside, which is our best bet? Which one is must dine? Looking at the menus, they all look so good.

Thanks, in advance, for your feedback.

Personally, Jiko's or Narcoosee's for food.

Everything is going to be a little bit of a pain for you to get to if you don't have your own car as they will all involve a transfer (either bus to bus or bus to monorail).

Hmm.

I've only eaten at Jikos on our last vacation, but it's on my favourite top ten gastronomic adventures of the world, not Disney world, but the entire globe.:slurp:

I would also vote for Jiko's. It is a great dining experience and gives you a chance to see the best resort on property(my opinion).

Everytime we eat at Artist Point we get a little bit more dissapointed. Only ate at Narcoossees once. Felt the food was marginal and the restaurant was overly crowed. Have never eaten at Citricos. Ate at Jiko's once. It was a bit expensive but the service, restaurant, and food was fantastic - eat there!!

3 out of 4

I've been to Jiko and Artist Point twice. Both were excellent once and a tad disappointing the other time -- Jiko's since I had Jafar as my server; Artist Point due to the food not being what I had hoped for/expected. Still, I would recommend them both if you've never been. Jiko has a superb wine list if that matters.

However, Citricos is far and away better on all counts. Service was, for me, excellent. And the food was even better. I'd rate it in my top 10 of all WDW meals.

If exploring the resort is a major objective, Jiko or Artist Point would be better IMHO. The GF, while beautiful, is a bit "sterile".

Wherever you pick: enjoy!!

While I've enjoyed meals at all four through the years.
I've always found Jiko and Citrico's to be on a higher level than the other two.
