Jetix Europe Announces New Disney Co-Production

This fall, Jetix Europe will launch Yin Yang Yo!, a new animated action/comedy series that is its fourth co-production with The Walt Disney Company.
From the producers of Fairly Odd Parents—Steve Marmel, Bob Boyle and John Fountain—the series features twin rabbits Yin and Yang, who live in a strange and mysterious world filled with magic, monsters, mythical creatures, an evil wizard cockroach named Carl and a grumpy old panda named Master Yo. Targeted at kids aged 6 to 11, the series is produced in Flash. It begins its rollout on Jetix across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the U.S. in September.
Paul Taylor, the CEO of Jetix Europe, commented, "Yin Yang Yo! conveys all the key components of the flagship content being developed for the Jetix brand globally—an escapist mix of action, adventure and cheeky humor. The series is the fourth co-production with Walt Disney Television Animation for Jetix platforms worldwide, demonstrating the continuing creative and commercial synergy developed between Jetix Europe and Disney."
Jetix Europe holds all pay-TV rights for Europe and the Middle East, as well as TV distribution rights, home video and consumer product rights. TV distribution of Yin Yang Yo! is serviced by Buena Vista International Television, which will launch 26 half-hour episodes at MIPCOM. Jetix Consumer Products (JCP) is managing the home video, licensing and merchandising rights.
