Jet Blue - Couple of questions

I know this shuld go in the transportation forum, but there's not a lot of activity there, so thought I'd try it here.:lookaroun

How does Jet Blue work for standby? My current flight out is for a Tuesday morning, first thing. Of course, living in the northeast, I'm worried about bad weather. If the forecast calls for it on Tuesday, I'd like to get out of town Monday evening. If they have open seats on a flight, will I be able to get on it?

I've flown JB many times, though never stand by. I assume there stand by works just like all the others. Your best bet is going to be calling them directly to get your answer. Good Luck
