David Tennant has been cast as the major villain in Marvel's upcoming Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones. He'll play the literally purple Purple Man, Zebediah Killgrave. A.K.A. Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as a superhero-turned-detective working with people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. Killgrave, "an enigmatic figure from Jessica's past," will be on hand to stir up trouble. While not much else is known about Killgrave's role in the show, in the comics, he produces pheromones to control people's minds and he can heal himself.
