Jelly rolls - leave and return?

Ain't gonna lie... Had to Google "Jellyrolls Disney" to even know what you were asking about. Having only done DW with my kids on every trip in the last 23 years, I was at a loss...
Now I have a "To Do" if I have an Adults Trip.

A retirement home has a better vibe than that place.
Yikes, really? I've never been to Jellyrolls, the description I see online says it's a "Dueling Pianos Showcase". Not my thing.
Afaik, there's not a single place in WDW with a cool, modern nightclub vibe and music.

Not sure why you think this.
I've only been twice, but both times it was a lot of fun (and I'd guess at least 75% of the crowd were in their 20s or 30s). I'd happily go back.
Unless something has changed significantly in the past few years, I guess, since the last time I went was pre-COVID.

Nothing has changed. It's the same fun place it always has been from when I last experienced it trip before last.

Wasn't it supposed to close January 1st? Has a new announcement been made?
My experience with the place was mixed. If there was decent sized conference at Swolphin and the place wasn't closed all night for a "private party", then it could be okay.
If there were no conferences then it was hit or miss. You either had the night that everybody said "hey, let's go to Jellyrolls for a bit" and you'd get a small or mid-sized cowd. Or the night where only 4 people did. And you'd get 4 people.

Owning at BCV and BWV, I've closed Jelly Rolls many a night. I've seen it dead very few times. Its usually rocking and gets sillier as the night goes on and the Mouseketeers get more drinks in them.

Well technically it's moving, not closing (at least supposedly), but it won't be on Disney property.
