Jedi Training Academy Question

I thought that I read here that there is a sign up for the Academy every morning at the sound dangerous area for each of the shows but I read in a guide book that they just pick kids from the audience. I am wondering which is correct?

I signed up my 2 boys (age 7) and I believe we waited nearly 1 1/2 hours when we got there early (1st thing) to sign up. They asked the boys questions and gave us a time to report. Our time was 1PM. NO MORE PICKING OUT OF THE AUDIENCE!:( So overall the experience took us 2 hrs out of our day, but the boys loved it! Fighting Darth Vader is cool! PhotoPass is there and the kids get a neat certificate.:wave:
