January Hours?

I know that January hours have not been posted yet. Anyone have a rough idea of what I can expect in late Jan, early Feb based on years past? I'm starting to plan a trip and I'm thinking about making a few PS for that time period. Any help apppreciated.

Expect early closings.

We went Jan 2002. MK closed at 6, perhaps at 8 on Saturday--can't really remember that.

Epcot was 10-9, with FW closing at 7. A few things at FW were open till 9--the biggies
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Honey I Shrunk...

Studios were open until about 7.

Cannot remember fireworks, Fantasmic, etc schedules. Epcot ran Illuminations every night.

It worked out well for us, on those early closing nights, to make PS for a late dinner--7 or 8-ish. It helps stretch out the day and makes the magic last until bedtime.

Thanks for the reply, Yellow Shoes, this is helpful. It sounds like a good idea to make dinner reservations for after the parks close. Are you glad you went at that time of year?

One thing I remember from last year... although the MK closed at 6pm, they did have fireworks every night... Not sure how that will work this year... they might do that alternating parade/fireworks this year... *shrug*

Yes, January is a good time to go, even though we were there for the week of unseasonably cold temperatures (daytime highs in the 50's--lows in the high 30's). Swimming was not an option.

The upside to that was no crowds. The only long line was for Living with the Land, which I attribute to the fact that we were there at lunchtime, about 12:30. Nearly everything else was a walk-on.

Re the fireworks. That time of year it is pitch-black dark at 6 PM, so they could happen fairly early in the evening.

I would go again at that time if I could swing it, without hesitation.
