MagliteL13 said:Yeah, definently stick to some sort of aniversary. I think Disney has a habit of blending one celebration into another. Like EE is part of the 50th (according to the vacation planning DVD), but AK's aniversary will probably get it as well. If the celebrations stopped and started, then that wand and hat would be gone by now!
Uhm, yeah it does. It's called the 100 years of magic celebration.Thrawn said:Uhm, the hat has nothing to do with a celebration.
A soft opening just means that Disney opens a new attraction "unofficially" before the official opening date. Since the attraction is not yet officially open, Disney can just pick and choose what days and times the attraction may be open. As everything related to soft opening is unofficial, nobody really knows exactly when the soft-opened attraction may be open. The purpose of the soft opening is to get the CMs some experience working with guests on the ride, so that the ride can be tweaked and mistakes fixed before the ride offically opens.sackbutt said:Forgive my ignorance, but could someone give me a description of what a soft opening means? How does Disney work this concept? My family is planning a trip next Feb 06 and I'd like to know what our chances might be to ride E.E.
