January 2018 WDW vacation

I have just returned from a ten day vacation staying at The swan hotel
Our next Disney vacation will be in January or February 2018 , it will be my nieces first Disney vacation ( she will be nearly four years old by then !)
My question is what would be the best time during January or February to visit WDW in terms of low crowds and the weather

Historically the crowds have been lower the last half of January and the first half of February. The only caveat to that would be any 3 day holiday weekends or marathon events during that time. If you do a search for "WDW crowd calendars" you can find some comprehensive projections on crowd levels. Also, in your planning, be mindful that some of the parks close earlier than during peak times.
The weather will hopefully be light jacket weather during the day. Our most recent harsh winter was in '09 with temps in the teens for several weeks but that is not too common.
