Hi everyone! And so the countdown begins....with my family returning in 162 days! We are staying at PORS for the first time January 18th - January 25th. When and where is everyone else staying in January? :D

I'll put myself on the roll call even though nothing is booked yet... Crossing my fingers everything works out in my favor which I am assuming it will...
So....

January 12-18, 2014 at the Pop with Mom and Dad (their 7th trip to WDW) and me (8th trip)

Let the roll call continue...

Called last night hoping for pixie dust and none of that happen. So didn't book... yet! Will have to wait until specials are offered in the fall... if any....:cry: My heart is heavy this morning... The CM I spoke with didn't seem to want to spread some magic...

Edit (3:03pm Eastern): I just realized that when I called last night to get a quote for my January trip, when I asked for any types of discount, CM told me they were none. I mentionned a couple right of the top of my head but completely slipped my mind to ask about AAA discount. Still better than nothing for now anyways. Since I have the reservation on a 7-day hold, I'll check my emails when I get home and I will probably give WDW a call tonight or this weekend. Funny how it seems as though the CM was passive and didn't seem to want to help.

I wish I were going. But we are waiting until the mine train is finished. We've already done the rest of new fantasyland and not overly impressed but I think the mine train will be excellent!!!!!!

I was hoping for an early opening when we go but I realize that probably won't happen! One can wish though, right! ;)

Pre-planning for a possible trip 17-22 Jan for our Daughter's 10th Birthday! Looking at Art of Animation or possibly a DVC point rental at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I just called WDTC to cancel my on-hold reservation (hadn't put a deposit on yet) for Pop Jan 12-18...

I was bummed I had to do so but the fact that my time-off from work cannot be confirmed for another 5-6 weeks (being relocated at work) I don't want to risk it. As soon as I am confident I can book I will do so.

Hopefully when (if) specials are released for January in early October, I can book for sure...

Congrats on surviving year number one, As a mom of triplets I waited until they were 5 for their first trip! I wanted to skip diapers and strollers in Disney.
