I heard some sort of word that Space may be going down for a rehab sometime in early '05...just making sure it wont be anytime from Jan 2-8
Thanks.
Thanks.
I heard SM was going down to install safety gates, but there is absolutely no indication that it will be closing between the 2-8. No official plans as of now, really.spacemtnfanatic said:I heard some sort of word that Space may be going down for a rehab sometime in early '05...just making sure it wont be anytime from Jan 2-8

It's funny. I don't think I'd appreciate a brand new, state of the art coaster nearly as much.NemoRocks said:Forget safety gates....demolish the interior and rebuild!![]()

Weird, huh?
I haven't heard anything about space going down for refurbishment. It's quite an undertaking due to the amount of Cms who work there and will need to be trained in the buzz complex since there will be no space shifts.spacemtnfanatic said:I heard some sort of word that Space may be going down for a rehab sometime in early '05...just making sure it wont be anytime from Jan 2-8

I hope Space gets smoothed out...but couldn't that be as easy as oiling the wheels and possible changing out some ride vehicle axles? Would the steel track actually cause that many problems?

Gut it up!!!!

I think it is mostly inevitable that SM will eventually have it's track replaced. I just hope when it does, they get something completely new, no clones and not the same layout. WDW SM has the largest show building of all the SM, even larger then DLP. It would be unwise to use it to their advantage.
YES! YES! YES! Rebuild it and they will come.NemoRocks said:Forget safety gates....demolish the interior and rebuild!![]()
